I believe everything said made a lot of sense. But, consider this, what if you added a little information? I am not suggesting your content is not good., but what if you added a title that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could look at Yahoo's home page and note how they create news titles to get viewers interested. You might add a video or a picture or two to get people interested about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your blog a little livelier.
